Christian Ryan


CEO Christian Ryan co-founded Beulah nearly 10 years ago and has been involved within the financial services industry for over 17 years. His vision was to create a financial services hub that would make a positive difference to the lives of our clients.

He also recognised that it was as equally important to create an interesting, challenging and fulfilling place to work. He has gathered a team of professionals together to provide a highly personalised financial service standard to our clients, delivered with trust, integrity and transparency.

Christian’s expertise is in investment and business structuring, investment markets and portfolio advice but now splits much of his time between growing the company and working with the team across its range of services and investment strategies. Outside of work, he is a family man and continues his love of rowing having competed at the Olympic games and world championship events, AFL football and recently challenged himself on the Tour De France cycling circuit.

With nearly 25 years of experience in finance and investment markets, Tom has been an integral part of creating many of Beulah’s unique investment processes.

Tom Elliott


As a primary member of Beulah’s Investment Committee, Tom brings a strong history of managing funds under advice and continues to run strategies such as the Takeover Target and Equity Income Portfolios.

Prior to joining Beulah, Tom was a co-founder and the Managing Director of MM&E Capital, a Melbourne based hedge fund where he successfully managed the day to day affairs of both the company and its various funds under management.

Prior to this he was an Executive Director of investment bank Flinders Capital Limited which specialised in both listed and unlisted equity investments.

Tom also presents Drive on 3AW each afternoon.

Paul Leitzke


I started my career in accounting and tax, transitioning to financial advising in 1996. I provide my clients with a holistic approach, covering comprehensive advice across investments, super, tax planning, business succession, estate planning and risk management. In 2013, I merged my business Sage Private Clients with Beulah, and became a Director and shareholder of Beulah. I am passionate about working with my clients across all aspects of their finances, building long and rewarding friendships in the process.

I love the outdoors and the country, and split my time between living in Melbourne with my wife, and working on my farm, where my pride and joy is Rex the ram. I am also still to be found on the football field every fortnight, playing Superrules with Williamstown.

Investment Team

Kylie Higgins

Senior Portfolio Manager

Kylie is responsible for the management of the diversified portfolio mandates. She has worked in the funds management industry for 18 years and in her most recent position, Kylie was the senior portfolio manager of multi asset portfolios with $5 billion in funds under management.

Prior to that, Kylie worked in wealth management in the UK as an equity research analyst recommending investments across European and US markets. She has a degree in Mathematics and Finance from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and is also a CFA charter holder.

Robert Bencic

Portfolio Manager

With 15 years of experience working within the broking industry, funds management and custodian services, Robert has extensive knowledge of investment markets and research skills.

He is a senior member of the Investment Committee and provides comprehensive due diligence and investment analysis on key companies within the Beulah investment universe as well as being the portfolio dealer for the Beulah portfolios.

Luke Conca

Investment Analyst

Luke joined Beulah in 2014 and is part of the Beulah Investment Committee. Along with Robert Bencic, he is responsible for investment analysis and portfolio management of the Beulah Capital model portfolios with a particular focus on Australian Equities.

As a current CFA Level 2 candidate, Luke spends his spare time studying and playing football.

Nick Power

Operations Manager

With a background as a Senior Adviser and General Manager I have been involved in the financial services industry for over 12 years. With a focus on technology and superior business performance I ensure that advisers and staff are sufficiently supported to deliver high end services to our clients.

I love all things operations and act as the go to person in the office to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Outside of work my wife & I are busy with our two beautiful children and getting down to the beach at much as possible. If time permits (which isn't often with two under 3) you will also find me trying to master the game of golf with varying success.

Andrew Matheson

Account Manager

As Beulah provides a comprehensive end-to-end investment service, our firm acts as the mailing house and administrator for all investment activities for our advisory clients. It is in this capacity that Andrew is responsible for the oversight of all administration including applications, lodgements, recording of assets and construction of cost bases. Andrew will often present a point of contact to aid clients in fulfilling their responsibilities and confirming investment activities.

With over 14 years with a major law firm, Andrew also has a strong background with the administration of trusts and estates.

Kelly Wee

Client Services Manager

Kelly came to Beulah from Sage Private Clients, where she was employed as the Client Services Coordinator for over 5 years. She works closely with Paul Leitzke and David Blackborrow, and will often be the person clients most talk to, with the exception of their adviser.

Her role is to assist our clients in the day to day management of their financial affairs, to access key information they may need in regards to their financial situation and to make their experience with Beulah as seamless and efficient as possible.

Sarah Cumper

Client Services Manager

With a background in Children's Services for over 14 years, it was time for a change in direction and a new challenge. I was given a fantastic opportunity to take over as a member of the Children's Services team and provide assistance and support to the advisers and my other work colleagues.

Away from work you will find me either cheering for the Sydney Swans, getting lost in a book or enjoying country life back home.
